ImPerfect Perfect’s exhibition ‘Give us a Hand‘ has been created by bringing the artist, the performer and the public together. A collection created by the coming together and a joining of hands. A celebration of women, recognition, unity and a reminder of how far we still have to go.

AWE gave a shout-out to artists, students and creative people across the city, in a bid to fill our visual landscape with art. At a time when advertising shouts at us and everything seems to be vying for our attention, we feel it's good to provide a space that isn't trying to sell you something, but transport you to a different place.

Naomi has been Leverhulme Trust/University of Sheffield artist in residence 2017-18. She has been working with the ice scientists in the geography department and on field research in Svalbard in the High Arctic. Having been shown in Sheffield and at the Royal Geographical Society in London, this work will be touring the UK and Europe.

Christophe Szpajdel: Lord of the Logos

From stoner, rock, metal band logos to something that reaches wider horizons: pop culture, fashion design: quotes turned into calligraphy and other stylized drawings. This exhibition explains his journey.

Terrarium

The terrarium in this exhibition celebrates the notion of beautiful botanical worlds captured under glass. Ideas of Handmade Crafts in Cabinets-of-Curiosities accumulate in a display of flowers, plants and foliage. The arrangement is cut and constructed from hand-painted copy/re-cycled paper
